When I first bought ILLUMINAE I was mesmerized by the beautiful pages and the unique way it was written, it was definitely a new experience for me.
I really enjoyed this book! Everything about it was so amazing that I was a little sad when I finished it. I loved how much action was involved and of course the relationship between Ezra and Kady. (My inner Spock was going crazy!) (Star Trek reference).
I about flipped a tit when I thought someone had died that I literally fell for (another book boyfriend). I cried and didn't want to finish the book if he wasn't in it anymore, but I'm glad I did continue to read, because it was all A-Okay.
You know when you love a book so much that you actually start feeling what the character feels? Well, if you do, that is what happened to me, and if you don't know... well this is a little awkward. Whenever Kady was sad I was sad, when she was angry I was angry, when she was feeling a little flirty, I wished it was me talking to my book boyfriend instead of her.
This book is truly amazing and I must give a round of applause to Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. *Claps* I am really interested to see what the second book is like. I heard that it doesn't continue on with the same characters, but with the same ship and stuff like that. I would recommend this book to anyone 13 or older.
