I loved the action, especially the ending because of something that happens, but I wont say just incase someone hasn't read it yet. I lived for the paranormal alien romance since that is what I basically live for, but it was frustrating since they were both denying it... relatable.
I found myself relating to Katy book wise since we are both obsessed with books and of course blog about them.
I loved how this book started out so different compared to other boy next door books. Most of them start with them falling in love and making out on the fifth page, but Obsidian is completely different, and it isn't until the second book when the feelings start to actually take place. Daemon and Katy have a I-hate-you-but-I-secretly-want-you relationship. Katy meets Daemon for the first time and immediately likes what she sees; black hair, really green eyes, and MUSCLES EVERYWHERE, I mean I don't blame her, but then he opens his mouth and that all goes down the drain. Daemon is a badass who has a secret, which just makes him even more badass and one of my top five book boyfriends.
I kind of consider Katy to be a heroine just because she tried to protect the Black family by making herself bait to the Arum, and it worked... somewhat... okay, not really, but she tried.
I recommend this book to anyone who loves a little romance and sexy aliens.
