OH MY GOD!
OH MY FRICKEN GOD!
I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!
LITERALLY LOVE IT.
DID I MENTION I LOVE THIS BOOK?
This is an excellent follow up to a book that already had me squeezing with delight. I was so into it! Daemon literally had me chuckling; his arrogant confidence and teasing sarcasm is hard to beat. But what I like most about him is his alpha-male ways. They were in full effect in this book. He may be cool around Katy, but when she starts looking at someone else....
I have to say her resistance was a little over the top, but I mean... whatever.
So, remember the first book, at the end when Daemon had to heal Katy after that CRAZY battle? Well... *clears throat* Katy is experiencing some weird effects from it. Things are changing for her, physically she seems to be exhibiting some of Daemons powers. She tries not to draw attention to herself, as that would expose her to her best friend, but also other Luxen.
While she tries to hide her new abilities, a hottie surfer-boy, Blake, shows up in school. He of course thinks Katy is pretty, and Daemon doesn't like see. HE LITERALLY GROWLS!
As Katy's world expands, she begins to learn about herself and gets a little extra insight into Daemon and... others.
There's way more to her entourage than she knows. Even more than Daemon knew. There are also some DOD, which is a division of the government that is aware of the aliens. Lot's of stuff happens! AND I MEAN LOTS!
I think Katy is BADASS. I loved her book blogging moments; they made me giggle.
I recommend this book to anyone! Literally it is sooo good! Like I said in other reviews, usually second books aren't that great, but this one is completely different! LOVE IT!!!!
